Resort Rules

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests, Sigayan Bay Beach Resort has established a set of guidelines and policies. We kindly ask that you familiarize yourself with these rules to help us maintain a pleasant and harmonious environment.






General Rules


HOUSEKEEPING. All our housekeeping ensures there is no cross contamination and the rooms are cleaned and disinfected before check-in. Housekeeping also sanitizes the frequently touched surfaces such as remotes, doorknobs, cabinets, tables, light switches, and bathrooms.

PAYMENT. We require a 50% downpayment through bank or online transfer. The remaining 50% will be collected at the resort in cash.

BRINGING OF FOOD. Kindly bring your own food and eating utensils.

GRILLING. Grilling is allowed only in the designated area (beachfront). Bringing electric stoves, electric grills with high electricity consumption, and similar items are not allowed.

SWIMMING. The beach is a public area. Swimming in the beach is allowed from 6:00 am until 6:00 pm only. Night swimming is not recommended for the guests' safety. Children below 11 years old and non-swimmer guests must be accompanied by an adult. The Management and its staff will not be liable for any loss or damage to guests' belongings, or for injuries or loss of life arising from accidents, drowning, and use of any kind of watersports/water activities. Swimming in the pool is allowed from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm only with proper swimming attire.

SMOKING INSIDE THE ROOMS IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. For the guests' safety and to maintain the cleanliness of the rooms or cottages, smoking inside the rooms or hallways is not allowed. Guests can smoke at the balcony or porch area.

WE STRICTLY FOLLOW THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY OF GUESTS PER COTTAGE. To serve our guests at our very best, we implement a strict policy on the number of people in a room to avoid discomfort and to maintain orderliness inside the cottages.

WE PROMOTE CLAYGO (CLEAN AS YOU GO). To be practiced inside the resort, guests are encouraged to help keep the resort clean by throwing trash in the garbage bins placed all over the resort. Throwing litter or waste on the beach is prohibited. Bringing any plastic items, plastic disposable utensils, plastic bags, plastic garbage bags, and similar items is strictly prohibited inside and outside the resort. A fine will be imposed by the Municipal Area when they visit/inspect the area.

EXTRA CHARGE FOR APPLIANCES BROUGHT TO THE RESORT. A minimum of P250.00 per appliance per night will be charged for guests who bring extra appliances inside the resort. Please conserve water and electricity.

MUSIC. Bringing large speakers, karaoke machines, portable videoke machines, and similar items is not allowed. No music after 10:00 pm. We want everyone to enjoy the night, but please remember we have other guests who also want to enjoy a quiet vacation time. You may continue playing some music at a minimal volume that won't disturb other guests.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIME. For Day Tour guests, check-in time is at 8:00 am and check-out time is 5:00 pm. For Overnight guests, check-in time is STRICTLY 3:00 pm and check-out time is STRICTLY 1:00 pm. A 2-hour allowance is needed to allow staff to clean up and prepare for the next guests. We request the guests' assistance to be able to serve at our very best.

BONFIRE/TENT IS PROHIBITED. To maintain the cleanliness and white sand of the beach and seashore, bonfires and tent pitching are strictly prohibited.

PETS. Only one small pet is allowed inside the resort, but not inside the room. Pets should be kept in a cage or on a leash and wear a diaper.

GUESTS' BEHAVIOR AND RIGHT CONDUCT IS OBSERVED. Right conduct and guests' behavior are observed inside the resort. Illegal weapons and illegal drugs are prohibited. Therefore, alcohol consumption should be monitored to prevent any trouble. Guests engaging in fights or violence will be asked to leave the resort immediately without a refund or compensation.

COTTAGE KEYS AND REMOTE CONTROL. Keys and remote controls are given to guests upon check-in. Keys and remote controls should be surrendered to the office before going to the beach to prevent loss. A charge of P700.00 will be applied for lost keys and P500.00 for lost remote controls.

VALUABLES. The resort will not be responsible for any loss or damage to valuables inside or outside the cottage. Please take care of your personal belongings. Secure your doors, windows, and vehicles during absences and at night.

VEHICLES. Please lock your vehicle. The Resort/Management will not be responsible for any loss or damage to valuables/parts inside or outside your vehicle.

LINENS. Do not remove beddings and mattresses from rooms unless allowed by Management. Lost linens, beddings, pillows, and similar items will be charged accordingly. Guests may not take home anything owned by the resort, except items stated as gifts for guests. Linens stained with henna tattoos or any hard-to-remove chemicals will incur a charge of P1200 per set.

DAMAGE/LOSS TO RESORT PROPERTY. Guests are financially accountable for any damage or loss to resort equipment/property, whether intentional or accidental. Willful damage of resort property/equipment will result in payment of damage fees or prosecution.

REBOOKING. For changing reservations, kindly inform the resort 3 days before the reservation date. Without notification of changes, downpayments are non-refundable.

CANCELLATION POLICY. 100% of the total downpayment will be forfeited if notice of cancellation is received on the day of arrival or for no-shows. Should the guest decide to shorten their stay, payment for unused room nights is non-refundable and cannot be used to offset against food, beverages, and other charges of the resort.


DISCLAIMER. Sigayan Bay Beach Resort shall not be liable for any loss/damage to individual property, physical injury, or loss of life suffered by guests arising from the use of any amenities/equipment within the resort, including but not limited to vehicles, watersports, and water activities. Guests agree to hold Sigayan Bay Beach Resort, its owners, officers, and staff free from any entitlements/claims arising from the use of any equipment or amenities in the resort. Likewise, all guests agree to abide by and acknowledge all the rules and policies of the resort.




Swimming Pool Regulations


1. Please shower first before entering the pool.

2. Proper/appropriate swimming attire must be worn.

3. NO DIVING.

4. Be careful, running and rough plays are prohibited in and around the pool.

5. No peeing in the pool, please use our bathroom.

6. No yelling or screaming.

7. All children under the age of 11 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

8. Think safety, bringing of glassware, eating, drinking, smoking, and soaping are not allowed within the pool area.

9. No spitting, blowing of nose in the pool.

10. No swallowing of pool water.

11. Persons under the influence of liquor/drugs are not allowed in the pool area.

12. Absolutely no animals are permitted in the pool area at any time.

13. Please leave the pool during heavy rains and thunderstorms.

14. Do not use the pool if you are ill with diarrhea.

15. Persons suffering from colds, fever, sore or inflamed eyes, any skin disease or communicable disease, or open sores or bandages are prohibited from entering the pool.

16. Pregnant women, elderly persons, and persons suffering from heart disease, diabetes, or high or low blood pressure should not enter the pool without prior consultation and permission from their doctor.

17. Observe all safety regulations.

18. Management reserves the right to deny use of the pool to anyone at any time.

19. Please obey our Lifeguard.

20. ENTER and EXIT slowly.

21. Enjoy the pool from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm.
